Grampian Mountains, Victoria spectacular and total wilderness for you

The Grampian Mountains are based at the furthest western precipice of the Great Divine Range located in the far western part of the Victoria State, Australia. The Grampian consists of a number of rocky mountain summits which are world famous for their rock climbing and walking trails. The mountains of Grampian acts as the centerfold for the renowned Grampian National Park, which is home to a range of exotic and invaluable wild flowers, a profusion of wildlife and a rich cultural heritage of the Aboriginal rock arts which goes back a long way of more than 10,000 years.
There are over 160km of trails to attract the mountain climbers ranging from the novices to the experts from all over the globe. The Mt. Victory road which runs the length of the mountain area leads to many tourist destinations such as Boroka and Reed Lookouts, and Mackenzie Falls. The Zumstein is a major attraction for the outdoor activity lovers with a grassy picnic location and scenic wonders of kangaroos wandering about. The outdoor sporty types who love rock climbing, canoeing, horse riding, swimming, boating, camping out or abseiling should not miss the adventurous settings of the Grampian Mountains. Favored camping areas are Halls Gap, Smiths Mill and Jimmy Creek. The Brambuk cultural center, Victoria Valley, Heatherlie Quarry are some of the other main attractions of the Grampian Mountains in Victoria.
