The Ballat, Victoria is a city state of Victoria in Australia and is located about 105km north-west to the capital state city Melbourne. The city is ranked the third amongst the most populated town cities in Australia. The town was named after the native aborigine’s language which is balla arat which means the resting place.
There are quite a number of things to do when you visit the town of Ballarat, Victoria, this place is also known as the haven of festivals. Some of the festivals to look out for that they really do bring this town to light are the Begonia Festival in March, Royal South St Eisteddfod held in October or September and the Eureka Jazz festival In April. You will be able to navigate the town by train or by bus thus making it an easy place to find transport.
